New York Times Bestselling Author, Margaret Peterson Haddix, to be at Lemuria Bookstore on September
New York Times bestselling author Margaret Peterson Haddix of the young adult book series The Shadow Children and The Missing, which both won numerous awards including the 2001 American Bookseller Pick of the List will be signing and reading excerpts from her newest book, Children of Refuge, at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, September 13, at Lemuria Bookstore in Jackson, Mississippi.
Children of Refuge acts as the second in the fast-paced and thrilling Children of Exile trilogy and is the sequel to the book Children of Exile. Kirkus reviews describes the Refuge as a “topical thriller that brings heart and thought to the sci-fi genre” and Booklist Review calls it “an excellent dystopian adventure” that “guarantees another title in the series.”
