Yes, you can be wounded in the very place you'd typically trust to be most safe--the Church. If that happens, how do you respond? What will you conclude? 

Jesus wants to touch you out of his love. If you come to him in your desperation, he will do it. He wants you. Do you want him? Today? Every day? Do you want a touch from Heaven?

Okay. It’s a cool afternoon yesterday as Marty works on his car.

Local deputies pull up.

I wonder, did they amble over to break the news? Or did they cut to the chase and cuff ’em up?

Either way, minutes later Marty sees his shackled wife and daughter saunter out their door.

“What’s—?” Marty's mind might have mumbled.

It's no big man. Just your household hiring a hitman to kill you.

According to news sources, that’s the bullet that...

God wants you to be "childlike," not "childish." And if we are to enter His kingdom, we must receive him like a little child receives a parent's love--wholeheartedly.

Do we often stray from God and then get mad at Him when we suffer the consequences?

He was very popular among the ladies, and went out with several girls, certainly far more than I ever did, and not all of them were...

Followers of Jesus must get off their fannies and get with spreading the message. It's straightforward--God loves everyone and Jesus died for everyone. No one--no one--need miss out on heaven or end up in hell.
